On November 10, 2020, the Business Ombudsman met with Suma Chakrabarti, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on economic development, good governance and international cooperation.

The parties discussed the progress in implementing the reforms carried out within the framework of the development strategy of Uzbekistan in 2017-2020, improving the business climate, increasing the image of Uzbekistan, as well as interaction at the local and international level.

At the same time, Mr. Chakrabarti positively assessed the activities of the Institute of the Business Ombudsman and noted that the Business Ombudsman plays a special role in the light of the reforms carried out in the country and the corresponding improvement of the business environment of the republic.
