The head of Orient Logistics LLC (name changed) sent an appeal to the Business Ombudsman with a complaint about the impossibility of making payments for wages and equivalent payments, social tax in connection with the seizure of his current account by the state executor BPI of the Urgench region.

        As it was established, based on the ruling of the Urgench Interdistrict Economic Court dated November 17, 2023 on the arrest of about 400 million soums (except for the part for salaries, budgetary and extra-budgetary) on the current account of Orient Logistics LLC, a writ of execution was received by the Urgench district branch of the Bureau , and enforcement proceedings began.

        However, during the enforcement actions, the amount required to pay wages, budgetary and extra-budgetary payments was also calculated from the bank account of the debtor Orient Logistics LLC.

        As a result, the entrepreneur was unable to pay the workers, which caused discontent among the workers.

        With the intervention of the Business Ombudsman, the ban on part of the funds in the Company’s account necessary to pay wages, budgetary and extra-budgetary payments was lifted, and monthly wage payments in the amount of 46 million soums were paid to employees.
